I was in your situation a number of years ago. You may find that there is a supplement made for your region already. If so, would definitely consider the amount of minerals included.

Hi Dee
If you go with the pea stone, make sure it is round, 3/8ths inch. Where I am it is called washed. We also can get "rushed" which does not work as intended due to sharp bits.
