Hello Group,
I am trying to help a friend with her IR horse. Unfortunately, she won't participate in this group. But my question is simple. Her recent blood work for her horse showed normal glucose

Julie, your compassion shows through your grief. I feel for what you are going through. I've been through that surviving horse panic when losing the first horse too. Horses do grieve, don't they.

Hi Bonnie
PPID and IR horses can have low thyroid which keeps them from self-regulating in the cold and heat, especially if not controlled. Here's a couple of messages from Dr

Re: Pulling Grass & Weeds
Hi Sally,
Unfortunately, really should remove it entirely from the area. The plants aren't dead as soon as you pull them so they can continue to produce sugars, esp as they are now totally stressed.
