I have searched files, cant find my question answered,
I have vet out Friday to draw blood, on Pony, Kayla etc...
I will not fast them

You need to use feed grade, not the garden minerals.
I'm next door. Use Blue Seal to order Magnesium Oxide. Have to special order it. I have not looked extensively for copper and zinc

A lot of us repeat blood work annually to keep an eye on things, especially if there has been a history of laminitis. How IR progresses depends on the horse and what other issues he has to

Thank you Nancy. I read no grain the morning of the test, and I am always confused on what different folks call "Grain". To some it is oats, to others it also seems to include hay pellets.

If you are testing glucose and insulin, would go with hay only unless you are able to feed about four hours prior to blood draw. Here's a good review.
