Cornell is the only lab capable of doing the leptin testing. We recommend sending all of the bloodwork there as from the experiences we've had here with thousands of horses they have been

Red flag for me is that someone felt this horse needed heartbars. Would definitely consider working to get your horse away from the need for shoes, but woukd want x-rays first to have a reasonable
