Most BP pellets have quite a bit of molasses in them. It can take forever for them to soften and fall apart when soaked, and, in my experience, you end up with a bucket of what looks like

Sounds like a glucose tolerance test was done, which tests for IR. Has nothing to do with PPID. And do not know how it would diagnose liver disease either.

Hope everyone had a great holiday. I haven't written about this guy yet but we had one of our horses, who is retired, bloodwork pulled and it has been confirmed he has Cushings.

Got blood results back from Cornell
ACTH 29.5
Leptin 3.34
His insulin was previously tested and it was high normal but can't track down the number specifically at the moment.
