What type of bloodtest was done to check for iron? If it was only the standard serum iron that most labs run then it doesn't tell you anything other than what is circulating at

Wow - good thing you rechecked those results. Certainly are better numbers. Weather can affect the numbers, esp cold snaps. Being a mare can also cause spikes in the spring when they start
