We no longer recommend doing the leptin, so save yourself that cost.
Shedding out is generally a later-term symptom of PPID. Muscle loss, esp. across the top line; tendon/ligament issues;

Yes, Easycare pads are big enough and I've used them in past but right now Apollo needs at least 3/4" of very soft foam to be comfortable. Got best results cutting up old neoprene saddle pad but none

You'll be getting a full welcome shortly but just a couple of things. We don't look at NSC but at ESC+starch totals here and for and IR horse we want that total to be under 10% with 4%
