Hi Tara,
Uncontrolled PPID (ACTH still elevated) can affect sweating ability so getting that under control may help the anhidrosis.

Re: Riosa bloodwork back - feedback please
Hi Heather
The blood work is not going to tell you if she had laminitis. It does tell you she has high insulin and is at risk.
Radiographs would be the best answer to your question, but even that does

Regarding the Xray thank you for taking a look at it - she's had two trims since the Xray. The first time farrier said he'd taken around 15mm

Hi Jan,
I agree with Dawn about the mats. Contrary to what many of us used to think, they are quite unforgiving for sore feet.

Jan,keep an eye on how she feels about this. My thought is that 3 inches should be 6, for better relief.

Some bloodlines within breeds have issues to avoid or to watch for. Do a google search on "Quarter Horse bloodlines to avoid" and then if there is an American registered QH you are interested in,

I read in another post that changes in Prascend will take 3 weeks before another blood level is drawn. I don't have "permission" from the vet to increase to 2 mg, but does that make sense or should it
