As Lorna said you need to know the strength. It should tell you on the
bottle, for example 1mg/ml or 2mg/ml

Let me clarify. Milliliters (ml)is a liquid measurement. Ian said they
charge $1.20 per ml...so a 60 ml bottle would cost $72.00.

Carol, I am so sorry. As stressful as such a sudden death is at least she
was spared a prolonged period of suffering going into a terminal decline, a
quick death seems easier on the animal.

I just remembered you are in Kansas, Karen! KSU is the only place that does
a complete iron panel blood testing on horses. The information on that
testing for iron overload is in the EC list
