cushings horse- ATT: Dr. Kellon
My 10 year old Rocky Mt horse was dx with cushings 1 yr ago. He is on
pergolide and his last ACTH level was in the normal range. I plan to
start him on chasteberry. Can he be on both?

Penny's tests were done at Cornell, too, so can we assume they use the same units this year? Here are the reference values with the units they gave me from June '07:

Re: Hay Analysis - need to soak?
Debra, $25 for a proper sugar/starch analysis will be very good money spent at this point. You can send to A&L Labs and write on the form Cushing's Sugar Test so Rob will know what you are needing.

My hay analysis indicates NSC of 19.13 by the formula - N SC =100 - (
NDF + P + 9.2 )
NSC = 100 - (NDF + P + 9.2 ) = 19.13 Also Glucose = 1.2% and Starch
= 1.8%
