Forgot to mention he tested negative for IR. Haven't had my latest hay tested but will get that done. Have taken the NRC course. Is it OK to give the Prascend with a meal? The directions don't advise

Just talked to my vet and found she didn't do glucose. Normal ACTH is 35, and Rossi was 357. Normal Insulin 15 - 40 and Rossi was 24. He has never had any IR symptoms, such as crest, fat pads, or weig

I appreciate all the good advice I'm getting. I've started him on the .25 Prascend, tonight he goes up to .5. No side effects so far. I'll get hoof pics tomorrow, and get some hay samples for analysis

Yes, I have the CTB tree. Just beautiful and full of bees in bloom. Rossi has free choice hay in nets but needs something to put on weight and carry sups. He really liked his Cool Stance and drank it

Slow feeder net question and now also ulcers
My 4 geldings get VERY frustrated with the 1 1/4" nets. They do OK with the 1 3/4" nets. The smaller ones get dragged around a lot and not emptied, and I don't think my old guy gets enough to eat. In
