Thank you for replying! No, Larry has no coat issues as a EC equine might have. Only his IBH (if it's that). My vet would not send the plasma overseas, no. We have a new panel here for IR/EC/laminitis

Hi Mandy, the problem is that I cannot translate the text on the new panel. I lack the vocabulary. If anyone is on here who can translate it (Heike perhaps?) I'll post the link to the lab information.

Thank you so much, Jennie!! I'll do that then. Oh, I forgot, yes, we do add salt. They would never consume 2oz though, haha! I do what I can though. I also forgot that both get jiaogulan too. :) Jenni

Hi Brenda, yes, I find that too high too. Have to soak. Thankfully we get hay soon that has been cut later. I'll retest the iron then too, but from what I've heard there won't be much change there. Bu

Okay, bear with me, haha! Here's the readjusted 6.5:1 ratio. Now the zinc has been adjusted to that too. Is it okay now as it is? I can safely tell the concerned manufacturer that it is recommended to

Hay from hell..
Marianne, that might not be easy due to import regulations, to ship the hay sample over to the US. I'm sure it is possible for you to have a more thorough test done in NL, but if not I would recommend

Hi Andrea, we have a service for farmers here to have their feed tested. Everyone else can use it too. That's where you ship your samples here. It's a nationwide service, an agricultural department. :

Flax - oil v's ground solid
I've learned that flax seed oil is extremely sensitive to light and oxygen, so IMO you would have to use an oil that comes in a dark bottle and has some sort of device that lets the oil out but no air

AFAIK flaxseed oil needs to be stored airtight and in the dark. Otherwise it's not stabel and will turn bitter in a matter of days. I have not found flaxseed oil packaged to assure both airtightness a
