I'm in the same boat-My trimmer metioned that pea gravel wouldn't be suitable for their feet- to soft. But as I don't even know what pea gravel is- I can't say for sure. Using sand would concern me re

Would it be reasonable to assume that hay with a higher sugar/starch content tastes better than hay with a lower sugar/starch content? Jacks old hay 8.9% either soaked or dry - yum- new hay 3.8% soake
