Yes, I do need to do that history. But cannot for a few days, due to work. We have increased her Cabergoline as needed to control ACTH, since starting in 2018.

I was very unfortunately unable to be at the vet appt due to a migraine, so BO took over. Frustrating. I would have insisted on a few things different. I had them do lateral rads out of an abundance o

Unexpected very high insulin on low carb feeds—Dr. Kellon
Also, just thought of this—in my broken laptop are years of labs. I’ve tested multiple times yearly or if concerned. Ally’s insulin levels consistently support my cautious approach to feeding & carbs.

Thank you! I’m sure it’s the Zero, as we have recent insulin levels. Earlier this Winter, insulin 8 (!) then 15 in March. That was on soaked lower carb hay. We’ve used Zero as a carrier with no issues

I have not posted in a very long time. I apologize for not have a case file any more—we were at a rehab center 10 years ago & it went by the wayside. Briefly—Ally is an Arabian mare, now 26, diagnosed

Question RE Phosphatidylserine
Yes, I see your point re cow brains. However to clarify, since the study, we now have Phosphatidylserine derived from sunflower or lecithin, & cow brains are NOT used. Many in human function medicine

Question RE Phosphatidylserine
I’ve been researching phosphatidylserine as a human supplement (to help with sleep) & learned it reduces ACTH & cortisol. Is there any research, documentation of use, etc about use in horses with PPID

To Cathy Johnson & LJ Friedman, I have spoken with Dr. Douglas several times this week. The drug is still stuck somewhere in customs with NO movement at all. If the two of you were of a mind, I think
