Hi Allison, I took Dr. Kellon's NRC Plus course in the summer. Since then I've been balancing my own minerals. My current cost per horse to balance minerals to their hay is 0.20 (Can) per day per hors

As someone who has fed Hoffmans Minerals in the past, I'd carefully check the amount of iron in their mineral. It's at an extremely high 1250 ppm. I definitely wouldn't feed it free choice, like they

I just purchased some from them. I don't know how they concentrate it, but the instructions say to feed 0.2 grams to 0.5 grams twice a day, if that helps. I believe that is a significantly lower dose

Does anyone know what the concentration is of their Chasteberry? I haven't received a reply from them. Would I feed it at the rate suggested by Dr Kellon - ie 2 oz/day - the same as the freshly ground

Blood drawn with sedation
Hi, I just read in one of the messages that the blood draws for ACTH should not be done with sedation. My horse is really reactive with injections so he was given an oral sedative. Can someone tell me
