APF long term
My mare did better on APF so I used it until the day she died. For some reason her insulin was lower on APF.

Pergolide Granules (?)
I use Wedgewood and will change to Chewy very soon. Wedgewood was having supply problems and I had to order granules to get me through a 30 day June. The granules are not as effective as melts or caps

Attention Wedgewood Users
I was recently informed that my auto refill for my Pergolide melts would be delayed because Wedgewood did not have all the ingredients to produce them. If you use Wedgewood you might want to give them

i started out with 1/4 tablet and increased every 5 days until I got to a whole tablet. My mare never showed any sign of the veil.

Chicy (in foal) and Triple Crown
If you have a Tractor Supply nearby, do they not sell hay? Coastal Bermuda might be your best bet. If you are not sure of the S/S content, soak it.

Any recommendations for a Compounding Pharmacy?
I use Wedgewood because of my vet. I also use the "melts" which seem to work just fine. I do have them automatically shipped every 30 days.

WAS UPDATES - Now increase pergolide without test?
FYI Chewy sells single dose 1mg Prascend. That could be an option if you can get a prescription from your vet for a few pills.

Apple as Pergolide carrier
I have been using beet-e-bites equi pockets for dosing my pergolide (https://beetebites.com/theshop/). They are under our 10% rule on sugar + starch. I have had no problem getting my mare to take her
