Pauline,which lab did your test?I'm wondering about the 2% DE.
And the high Na ?

This is a hay sample,not pasture,right?

Also ,5g of K would be good to add to the above figures.

Thanks for looking at hay- Yes it is a hay sample & I got it tested at
Equi-Anaylitical.
Jack is also getting wheaten chaff & speedybeet & has access to pasture
(drought stressed) - for approx 1 hr at dawn & a big paddock during day-
with stubble & dirt.
Do I still need to soak with sugar at 8.9%? We are on water
restrictions so it would be nice to stop if we could.

Would my normal horse benefit from the minerals as well?- or is is more
to do with the cushings side of things?
