I'm a little confused about the case history. Am I suppose to put the
current conditions she is living with or her normal living conditions?

>>>>>>>>>>Both. This will help us to understand what changes are in place as well as "history"....

Hi Tami,
I just looked to see if you had a Case History up on Scarlett and I did not find one. Before the gurus can give you any advice regarding pergolide etc it would be of great help to see the big picture. Please go the main list, Click on Folder # 9 and fill out a case history on Scarlett. Alot depends on her age, breed, symptoms etc.
Thanks,
Mandy

Scarlet was tested for cushing during an acute episode of lamintis.
Not only was she in pain, but she was also stressed over being locked
in a stall, seeing the vet, and not having eaten for 12+ hours and it
was late July which I have learned is the start of the seasonal rise.
Her ACTH was 34 - the vet said normal was 2-10. The results took 9
days to come back from the lab - the blood was sent to a lab in
Portland, OR. Scarlet does not really show the typical signs of
Cushings, so I have to wonder if her test was a true positive. I do
plan on having her retested in January. She is on 1 gram of pergolide
per day. My question is, do I stop her pergolide before her second
test and if so, how long prior?

Thanks so much.
