I have my hay analysis results from Equi-Analytical and have been studying files, web sites, etc, etc to see if I can figure out how to do this for my compensated IR gelding so I can protect him from further problems and get the best nutrition into him. Is there a particular form, spreadsheet, whatever that you all recommend? Thanks so much for your input.

If you go to the groups files and look in folder 7a you will find all the excel spreadsheets, "paper and pecil" worksheets, etc. If you are math challenged like I am a would like to have one of the gurus help you do the balancing check file 7 for more info or just ask directly on list.

I can help you with your hay balancing and the spreadsheet. Can you post your hay analysis so I can have a look at it? Also, do you have a case history posted for your gelding? I would need his history and everything he eats before I could begin to work on balancing his diet.
