Just to let everyone know that Hope went home sound and barefoot on Sept 15th 9 months after I took her on to rehab her.

Absolutely fabulous news, Angela. Thanks for the update and for taking her on.

Thank You... for your great support. Could not have done this without you all and this great list with all the wonderful information! Hope has another year I figure of constant hoof trims still to go. Can not hurt, even if it is not this long either. My Farrier is staying on top of this with Hope at her owners and everything else is in place and being followed. This includes the boots and socks and shipping boots for the winter and herbs, meds, minerals, low sugar starch hay and blood work. Did not get a chance to update how great her hoofs look and frogs at this time. I hope to later. Had a unforseen family emergancy at that time. I now have more time to worry about pregnant Breazy ( I hope) instead. :))

Hi all,

Just to let everyone know that Hope went home sound and barefoot on Sept 15th 9 months after I took her on to rehab her. That was quite the job. They are following everything that I have implemented. Hope's I.R. is under control and her Cushing's also. For the fall high she was increased to 1mg from 0.5mg to keep her ACTH in the normal range and Hope is presently on 1mg of Pergolide.
