Mash needed
Kc <karenclarinet@...>
My dear Serrano is slowing down being able to push poop past all tumors.
He gets a walk/ride every day and has space to walk and nibble on hay. I am adding coco soya to sups. Can I give him bran mashes? He loves the ODBTC but not soaked, only dry! And he is getting very very fussy about eating. Blood test weds showed low levels both red and white. Still waiting for ACTH . So far he is still pooping, but it is getting harder... And I am crying a lot. Karen and Serrano, sept 2012, Ca Sent from my iPad |

Is he drinking enough water? My own experience with the ODTBC cubes is that they swell to three or four times their size when soaked. Eaten in a dry state, could they be getting to the hind gut with less than their full potential of moisture content and softness for easier passing?
