Triglyceride testing donkey

Vet is coming in the morning for non-fasting insulin, glucose and ACTH.  Shouldn't triglycerides be tested fasting?  So 2 trips from vet?

Thanks!  Dr. Kellon suspected hypertriglcerides when he was underfed and with low insulin (4).

No fasting necessary for the horse.  There is no post prandial (after eating) elevation on an equine diet.  In fact, fasting will elevate them.
