Triglyceride testing donkey

Vet is coming in the morning for non-fasting insulin, glucose and ACTH. Shouldn't triglycerides be tested fasting? So 2 trips from vet? Thanks! Dr. Kellon suspected hypertriglcerides when he was underfed and with low insulin (4). |

No fasting necessary for the horse. There is no post prandial (after eating) elevation on an equine diet. In fact, fasting will elevate them.
