Since my mare's blood work came back that she has compensated IR and not Cushing, should I be considering more blood work to explain her sudden muscle loss after stopping work this year?  Or could the muscle loss be due to not having her IR fully managed?  I am wondering if I should test her for Vit E/Selenium deficiency?  Is this recommended or would it be best to wait until I can get a customized mineral plan for my hay before I run more tests?
