There is no reason to do a routine Power Pac. With the growing resistance to this dewormer, it might not work anyway. Your schedule is fine for most healthy adult horses but an annual fecal should be done during peak parasite season, such as before your Spring deworming.

I haven't been doing a power pack wormer in the past as part of my routine worming, but was told that I should do one every other year. Currently I do worming in the Spring and Fall with an annual fecal count in December. Is it recommended to give a power pack to a PPID horse? Cynthia from CA Tucker 10/10 |
