I was able to order it from my best horse.com. It was imported under "equine feed".  It was about 46$ Can incl S+H, and that's the 1lb bag.  Amazon.com will not ship it to Canada.

I live in Qualicum Beach on the island and buy from mybesthorse.com five bags at a time since it takes several weeks to arrive due to customs delay.

I found some just down the road from me. What is the dose to start? I know you are supposed to go by the color of the gums, but don't know how much to give her tonight. Thanks

Hi, Kathie - the starting dose for cut-leaf product is 3 teaspoons twice daily; for powder is 1 - 2 teaspoons twice daily. http://mybesthorse.com/jiaogulan.html   Here is a link to more information about jiaogulan:  https://ecir.groups.io/g/main/files/Pain%20Medication%20and%20Alternatives/Jiaogulan,%20Nitric%20Oxide%20Support,%20AAKG%20and%20Supps

Is there a difference between the cut leaf vs. powder?

Hi Natalie

There are some folks who prefer one over the other.

Dr Kellon has stated she has found powder to be more effective than cut leaf, with a higher dose needed for leaf.  I have used both and found that, in the end, you need to look for the change in gum color to make sure you have what you need on board.

Here is a compilation of some of her messages
