Building Sole

My most recent trim evaluation indicted thin soles.  I'm now hoping to find effective ways to help the sole thicken naturally.  My first thought is that exercise would be recommended.  But are their other ways that help build sole when increased exercise is not an option?

The "thin soles" is really a consequence of coffin bone descent and long toes with flat soles.  Many QH and QH types also seem to have poorly developed digital cushions and a tendency for a negative palmar angle which doesn't help things.

Pea gravel or deep footing is better for sole stimulation that firm, level ground, or use boots with pads. Turnout is sufficient movement. Follow this trim:

Thank you Eleanor - I have tried viewing this link in two browsers (Explorer and Chrome) and neither load all of the pictures/diagrams.  Is there a .pdf of the article?  Thank you again.

Hi Sandra
I sometimes have that issue too - usually in our photos section.  Not sure why it happens but refreshing the page sometimes helps.
I emailed you a copy of the webpage in pdf form.
