Thank you to everyone who made this last weekend's No Laminitis! Conference possible! What a gathering of great minds! What a learning opportunity. I look forward to watching the presentations again when the videos are released. Please keep the video format in coming conferences. It captures so much more than reading words from an outline. Great job, everyone!

Just wanted to express my gratitude, for the very well organized conference, all worked like Swiss machinery, the moderators were awesome at their work getting all the questions, providing links and guiding speakers and audience.
I was amazed at the quality of the materials, tons of knowledge concentrated in three days that far from being dense, was put in the most entertaining way. I was fearing that some of the material were too advanced to be understood by myself, and they were, but then these wonderful speakers made their presentations easy to digest for the ones less knowledgeable, so I finally ended up with tons of notes and things to think about.
Seing all these professionals discussing the materials in the same shared screen almost brought tears to my eyes, left me speechless.
Thank you all for the huge effort done, for answering every question as the most important one, for being in the other side of the screen for hours just to inform us and for doing it with a big smile.
Thank you to all the speakers, the moderators, the people who asked questions so that all could learn from it, the team behind the scenes and the people who attended and made it possible.
Attending to the conference was absolutely a privilege for me and hope this format is kept for the following years.
Congratulations for the good work and also looking forward to the link as I couldn´t attend two presentations and lost some info due to the language. Was hard this part haha.
Dawn, so sorry you couldn´t attend and happy you are all fine.

OUTSTANDING conference! I was actually SAD when it ended even though it went overtime on Sunday. I would have sat there all day long again.
And talk about a Power Panel!! Absolutely loved the Q and A’s at the end of the day - rapid fire answers to intelligent questions.
Dr. K’s ability to recall studies off the cuff is mind boggling.
Shannon drilled it into everyone’s mind (without making us feel guilty) that EXERCISE is key. In the middle of horrible wildfire smoke, I’m doing my best by spacing my hay and water 600+ feet apart and making my 3 horses go uphill to get water. Small holed hay nets and so far so good. Hope the smoke stops soon so I can ride without hurting my horses’ lungs.
And whew! Saturday morning was one heck of a genetics lesson. Loved it! Kathleen’s approach to balancing and no nonsense supplementation was so refreshing. After taking Dr. K’s online nutrition class several years ago, I’m always bugging my trimming clients about diet and now I have more DATA to preach!
Super cool to listen to Pete, Paige and Bob hash out trimming and booting techniques and theories. (Over 20 years ago I sent my PPID horse’s front feet to Bob for research!)
Thank you is woefully inadequate for how much everyone worked to put this on - moderators, tech support and attendees.
BRAVO!! Everyone needs to give themselves a pat on the back. Job well done - you all knocked it out of the park/arena!
I agree with keeping it online next time too - at least an option to do so since I wouldn’t have been able to attend otherwise. Thank you again.

I could have listened to that man all day, I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated everyone that contributed. I too missed a lot (work) so I’m looking forward to watching it when available.
I am also very grateful it was held virtually because I wouldn’t have been able to attend either.
Thank you everyone from the speaker’s to the people that made it work so seamlessly.
It was amazing and I’m already passing along what I learned.
Bravo 👏

Thank you all for a great virtual conference, it gave me the opportunity to participate. I was most impressed with how smoothly it ran, how easy it was to connect each night (my first virtual conference, participating from Australia). The content was invaluable, answering many questions I and providing a lot of new information. My only negative was the 15 hour time difference which meant starting at 11pm and going through till 6-7 am was somewhat challenging for 3 nights, so I am very glad we will be able to follow up and review sessions!
Many thanks again

I'm so glad you enjoyed the conference, and thank you for your kind feedback. I did not manage to sit up all night either, and I am certainly looking forward to viewing the recordings.
Just letting you know that if you need any specific suggestions for individual horses, you can find case history instructions here: main@ECIR.groups.io | Wiki
And of course, if you have any questions about material covered at the conference, feel free to start a new thread and ask here in the Messages.
Cheers

I encourage everyone to donate to ECIR. Without this group of volunteers and educators, we would truly be in the dark (ages). It was extremely apparent to me during the conference that this would be the case.
i’m donating $ again today. Such an amazing resource.

I would like to second everything said earlier in this post—it was an amazing amount of clearly conveyed information and Iook forward to rewatching the whole conference.
I had the conference on as I was getting ready to leave the house and my husband caught part of the DNA discussion and was greatly impressed with how the presenter managed to communicate pretty complicated information to a scientifically diverse group without sacrificing any of the scientific message.
My husband teaches human anatomy and physiology at our local Community College and says it’s what he struggles with every day with his students that come from a variety of Science backgrounds.

Maybe it has been mentioned already but, will the link to the conference be announced here when it is ready, or do we need to ask individually to any given email?
Thank you.
