New photos posted - trim advice from anyone please ..
Hello -
Cookie has been in boots for 3 months growing hoof but is in desperate need of a trim - I was told last time I posted pictures that we took off way to much foot because she had sinking as well as rotation - hence me asking for trim advice-- I am begging for understanding and help for her feet , they are long and she needs a trim before she gets more screwed up the she already is please . -- Julie Boring , Oregon 2009 https://ecir.groups.io/g/CaseHistory/files/Julie%20Allen%20and%20Callie%20and%20Cookie Callie photo album:https://ecir.groups.io/g/CaseHistory/album?id=245704 Cookie photo album: https://ecir.groups.io/g/CaseHistory/album?id=271132 |

Hi Julie, Lavinia will probably get back to you over the weekend if she's not too busy but just want to say that at a glance Cookie's feet do NOT look that bad. Is she more lame than she was?

No , not at all , she is walking well , won't trot unless forced - I don't make her . I'm planning on trimming tomorrow when I have time (and 2 others to do --)
I am keeping her out of boots until I can trim her up - But I do not want to loose ground with too long toes or too high heel causing issues . Especially with her back feet -- they are the most trouble .. -- Julie Boring , Oregon 2009 https://ecir.groups.io/g/CaseHistory/files/Julie%20Allen%20and%20Callie%20and%20Cookie Callie photo album:https://ecir.groups.io/g/CaseHistory/album?id=245704 Cookie photo album: https://ecir.groups.io/g/CaseHistory/album?id=271132 |
