Hi,
I calculate the feed ration for the sport horses and on the feed products labels  isnt energy content. How calculate energy content from another  nutrients? Protein, fiber etc.? I need it so I can calculate  the amount of hay.

Most feed labels I have seen do give energy levels in mega joules but if your product does not, contact the manufacturer and ask.  If you are mixing your own feed, use the average figures from www.dairyone.com or www.feedipedia.org.
