Michelle, Please put all your photos in ONE album and link that to your Case History - you now have 2 albums with several pictures in each.

Hi Michelle,
I know that caring for horses can be incredibly expensive but a tablet is something you could justify purchasing “for Schimpie” and then enjoy for yourself as well. An iPad is like an oversized iPhone so nothing new to learn but it makes online research and communication with ECIR so much less frustrating, just because you can actually see what you’re doing. There are other less expensive tablets but do your research first. -- Martha in Vermont

Hi Martha ..I do have an iPad just not with me currently as I’m away at a softball tournament..even on the iPad it’s not the easiest for me to
navigate…I guess I’m not very tech savy ..anyhow until I can get this figured out I was hoping Dr Kellon on someone else can chime in on the pictures and latest info I updated -- Michele Goldberg Bernville, Pa joined 2015 |

Hi Michelle
Please make sure you've seen this about links... https://ecir.groups.io/g/main/message/284213 -- Nancy C in NH ECIR Moderator 2003 ECIR Group Inc. President 2021-2022 |

Hi Nancy …I get it about the links …if I knew how/was able I certainly would provide it ..the problem is I can’t figure out how to do it -sorry

Michele (and others who may be struggling with providing links), just wondering if you’ve seen the detailed instructions in the Wiki? There is a heap of information there to do with navigating the group and all those pesky housekeeping details that allow it to run smoothly. I’ve been on the group for years but I still consult the Wiki if I get a bit lost.

I'm not sure I understand this, Michelle, because Sherry provided perfect instruction with your links already provided for you here: https://ecir.groups.io/g/main/message/284178
We are an internet group of volunteers giving out amazing help for free. We ask in return that members work within the guidelines and help us help you, as Dr. Kellon pointed out. For many that means learning a new skill. This can be done on any device. Knowing how to toggle between windows would be a good skill, for example. Ask someone in your social circle or family to show you. Some folks need more practice than others but with attention it can be done. Doing it at a softball tournament would not be ideal unless you can conscript a tech-saving player. Thanks for your consideration. -- Nancy C in NH ECIR Moderator 2003 ECIR Group Inc. Thanks Nancy, and thanks to everyone else for the help/instructions …think I got the links now attached to my signature and I’ve combined photos to one album …hopefully now Dr Kellon can view the photos and respond/advise accordingly

Good work. Two things:
(1) You need to change the link to photos in your signature to this link https://ecir.groups.io/g/CaseHistory/album?id=279126 (2) While you are there also change your CH link to this https://ecir.groups.io/g/CaseHistory/files/Schimpie%20Case%20History/ If you link to your folder instead of your document, then when you add new things your link will show everything in the folder. Go to subscriptions to do this https://ecir.groups.io/g/main/editsub Scroll down to SIGNATURE box to change/enter links Don't forget to hit SAVE. Hang in there. Almost there. -- Nancy C in NH ECIR Moderator 2003 ECIR Group Inc. President 2021-2022 |

Hi Michelle,
I would put her at a BCS of 5.5-6/9 based on those photos. Her high leptin is another sign that she's carrying more weight than ideal. In a horse with EMS we like to see BCS at 4.5/9, and you'll know you're there when you can just barely see the ribs. Her weight may or may not be contributing to her lethargy, but I'm sure Dr Kellon will address that for you. -- Kirsten and Shaku (IR + PPID) - 2019 Kitimat, BC, Canada ECIR Group Moderator Shaku's Photo Album |
