micronized trans-resveratrol question for Leslie Budworth and Dr. K

Lately there was a thread on Equithrive that also discussed resveratrol. I purchased 100 grams of ProHealth Longevity from Iherb.com just to see if it would help with pain management. But Leslie who has been using the same product mentioned that she used a loading dose of 4 grams. My question is how long did you keep her on the 4 grams before results were seen? My pricy 100 grams would last 25 days at the 4 gram dose

I am on my 2nd bag and I'm still giving the 4000mg in the AM. I do not know what the therapeutic dose is. I can't say I find any compelling research on it either but in my experience it has helped tremendously. The loading dose of Equithrive Original Joint is 4 scoops = 1400 mg of resveratrol and 200 mg sodium hyaluronate (aka hyaluronic acid, HA). Since a common human arthritis dose of resveratrol is 500 mg https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/30160612/ , even this loading dose is low. Yes, I did the 4000mg based on the dosing in the Equithrive Matabarol supplement for a 900 lb horse, not the joint formula.
