prascend doses am and pm

A friend of mine has been dosing her horse a.m. and p.m. with prascend . I didn’t know this. And I want to show her the data that says it’s not correct. Can anyone send me things that I can send to her that the group has shown via studies etc.

You can do a search on split dosing but the short version is that splitting the dose decreases the effectiveness of the medication. The people on the group who are successfully dosing 2x a day are usually adding more pergolide, not just splitting a dose.
