Dr Kellon Consult Request - New labs, hay test, minerals etc

Hi Dr Kellon,
I emailed you at your gmail address on Friday. Thought I’d post here as well. Below is my email message.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Dr. Kellon,
Hope all is well!
I’d like to have a consult regarding Quiana (12 yo Oldenburg mare). I’ve received new lab bloodwork results and have had a recent hay analysis.
I’m finding it very difficult to get her to eat the required amount of the Uckele mix of poly copper, poly zinc, selenium etc because of the high iron hay, the amount of minerals is unpalatable. Would it be possible to do a base of something like California trace and then add some of the loose minerals in addition? I feed her minerals, salt, vitamin e oil, APF and fish oil in Timothy Balance cubes along with approx 2-4 cups of Cavalor Fiberforce &/or Stabul 1, 1-2 cups soaked, rinsed BP. Depending on the day sometimes I have to add more or less of the pellets & beet pulp to entice her. She had a mild laminitis event in Sept, the farrier pointed out some small separation on her left front. She never had heat, pulses or showed any tenderness/lameness etc. She is still on 1 mg of Prascend/day. Can you please look over and let me know your advice? I am happy to pay for a consultation, please let me know how to reimburse you for your time!
Kind Regards,
Jennifer Teis

Oct 2022 Coastal Bermuda Analysis.pdf (Iron is HIGH, ZN & Cu are LOW)
Quiana Trace Mineral Blood Panel Oct 2022.pdf The manganese concentration is Above Normal, the molybdenum and zinc concentrations are DEFICIENT, and the selenium concentration is Below Normal. Iron is at the very top of range, almost considered “high”.
