New case history format
Hi, I have been holding back updating CH in expectaion of the new case history format.
Can we know if information is transfering over to it, or will we be looking at two different CH's to track our progress. Am I not being responsible by updating currrent CH format? -- Kandace K Rocky Mountains, Alberta, Oct 2020 K and J (over the rainbow bridge) and now T https://ecir.groups.io/g/CaseHistory/files/Kandace%20J%20and%20K https://ecir.groups.io/g/CaseHistory/album?id=259062 |

Hi Kandace
Thanks for your interest. Our Early Adopters are still paving the way and together, we are setting up Wiki instructions, etc., so it will be a little while yet. I have knee surgery coming up so that may take me out for a few days as well. The plan for the next stage will be to open the new site to members just joining ECIR. The site on groups.io will continue to remain open for experienced members to update their information for a short while, running simultaneously with the new site. The old site will be closed to adding new info shortly after we determine there are no train wrecks. It will remain as a Read Only library of old histories. The new site will be used to update all histories from that day forward. Any migration of old data will need to be done by the member. I will give you all lots of warning as to what is happening, including Special Notices for those who don't read every day.. I'll need to leave it to you as to determining your situation but if you chose to update your history now, you and volunteers will still have access going forward. Hope this helps. -- Nancy C in NH ECIR Moderator 2003 ECIR Group Inc. President 2021-2022 ECIR Group NEW Case History site open to Early Adopters.

PS. I have to add my sincere thanks to Early Adopters who have set up their histories. It is invaluable to see how differing human learning types react to what is before them with little instruction. They have done a great job identifying areas that were speed bumps needing fixing or areas that need instruction.
We have 23 histories in various stages of completion from Basic Information only to every section completed, including loading of hoof photos. I am very grateful to these volunteers and the time they donated to help us all. -- Nancy C in NH ECIR Moderator 2003 ECIR Group Inc.
