Lavinia Mark ups please

Carly

(autocorrect changed lavinia to laminitis so I'm trying to change it)
Hi Lavinia,
Can I please have mark ups for Quest's front feet?
I'm afraid I haven't got good sole pictures as she's not happy about having feet held at the moment and I have limited help.
She is being trimmed on Weds 25th. Last trim was 3rd Jan. Trimmer (Equine Podiatrist) had been working on building heels as she has underrun heels and hyperflexes (hind worse than front).
Thank you.

Hi Carly,

Lavinia has your photos.  I don't know what her schedule is like so can't make any promises for when you'll have the markups.

In the meantime, I totally forgot to ask you to upload photos of the hinds.  If you can do that today, I'll download them for this round of markups.  If not, I'd suggest waiting until after the trim, then uploading photos of the hinds for feedback at least.

If Lavinia doesn't get back to you in time for this trim, then it would be good if you take a full set (4 hooves) of post-trim photos with your trimmer's help(at least for the sole shots?), and put in a new request for the new photos.  You'll be an expert at photo-taking and uploading by the time you're done!

Hi Carly,

Lavinia is going to try and get some basic markups to you on the rads, but she asked if you could take a full set of photos on all 4 hooves AFTER the trim, and she will do a complete set of markups for the following trim.

Okay, thanks and thanks to lavinia. Sorry I haven't managed to do them properly yet but as you suggest, my trimmer can help.  I got myself a wire brush to try scrub them cleaner yesterday but it was too hard and didn't want to make her resent hoof lifting too much before the trim tomorrow.

She was scratching/biting at her coronet band this afternoon and seems a bit 'off' today, and not eating with usual speed and enthusiasm so perhaps an abscess is moving...

Sounds like it, let's hope some relief is on the way!

Hi Carly,

Did you manage to get your new set of post-trim photos?

We are going to try and get something back to you this week.  What is your next trim date?
