I had trouble too but once the file it’s in your signature line it’s easy to access over and over. On my iPad I have the link saved in the notes I just copied and pasted it that way it’s easy for me to access when I want to update. Maybe that will help organize. Then just make sure that you save the new version the same way each time you update or add some thing. -- Christine and Chanceler 2022-11 Portugal https://ecir.groups.io/g/CaseHistory/album?id=282893 https://ecir.groups.io/g/CaseHistory/files/Chanceler’s%20case%20history |

Maxine is right: use the Mac computer so you work from the big screen. If you use Word for Mac as your word processor, then you need to download the Word form.
https://ecir.groups.io/g/main/files/Case History Tools/Case History Form.docx If you use Pages.app as your word processor, download the Pages.app form: https://ecir.groups.io/g/main/files/Case History Tools/Case History Form.pages (You may need to copy and paste this link) -- Cass, Sonoma Co., CA 2012 ECIR Group Moderator Cayuse and Diamond Case History Folder Cayuse Photos Diamond Photos |

Daryl, I think you will find the case history form easier to fill out on a computer.
1. Open your computer and make sure you have either a) Pages or b) Word for Mac. Pages and Word are both word processing programs. You need to have one of them in order to download and fill out the case history form. 1a. If you don't have either, you'll need to get one of them. Or 1b. you can try to find a generic word processing program that will work on your computer. I'm afraid you'll need to ask someone who is familiar with your computer and the programs about this, as we are not all techies either! 2. Once you have the program/app in place to read the case history form, you will need to download it onto your computer and save it with a new name (for example, Jasper Case History 31 Jan 2023). Please see the first blue link in Sherry's message below for where to download the form. Make sure you know where in your computer you have saved the form. 3. Follow the instructions on the case history form to fill in the boxes that are relevant to your horse. Instructions are in red capital letters on the first page of the form. 4. Save your form. Follow the uploading instructions at the end of the form. 5. Start a new thread here in the Messages on the main group, letting us know your case history is done and asking any questions you may have. Hope this helps. -- Maxine and Indy (PPID) and Dangles (PPID) Canberra, Australia 2010 https://ecir.groups.io/g/CaseHistory/files/Maxine%20and%20Indy%20and%20Dangles

I'm using an apple computer and Droid phone. Shall I just stick to using the droid?

I need a 1,2,3 step instructions or bullet point process. I am not familiar with your processes. I don't know where to start. Thank you.

Hi Daryl,
I'm guessing you're trying to get the Case History form off our website still? Are you using a Mac/ioad/iPhone? If so, you need to download the ".pages" version here. You must have the Pages app installed on your device in order to open and fill out the form. If you don't have it, you can get it in your app store. Or are you using a computer/tablet/phone that is NOT an Apple product? If so, you need to download the ".doc" version here. You must have Microsoft Word (computer) or Google Docs (tablet/phone) on your device to open and fill out the form. If you are having trouble downloading the forms, let us know what device you are using and we will email you the correct form. -- Kirsten and Shaku (EMS + PPID) and Snickers (EMS) - 2019 Kitimat, BC, Canada ECIR Group Moderator Shaku's Photo Album Snickers' Case History Snickers' Photo Album |

Hi Daryl. Could you let us know exactly where you are getting stuck? And folks who are techy can get you through the stuck spot.

Since joining the group I am feeding my horse 17 lbs of 1st cutting grass hay that has lower protein, lower sugar and starches. He is no longer on grass pasture. Trying to download my case history, photos and hay analysis and supliment info has not worked for me. The tech side of things is not user friendly so far as I can tell. Might be just my gray hairs getting in the way. Please help.
