Important info on GRASS FOUNDER, with Cushings implications

Hi all,

While Cushings is NOT the issue of the article, the article has some
very interesting and I believe important implications for managing
our Cushinoid horses -- and also ties right into the chronic problems
many have. Note in particular the grass conditions that can trigger
grass founder, including closely grazed pastures, and also the
SERETONIN and the CORTISONE correlations.

I'd run across this a long time ago, but hadn't thought of it in
these terms. A post on another board about grass colic reminded me
vaguely of having read something like it so I went searching...
