Hug your horses for me today, and say a little prayer for Marvin. He was
truly one of a kind and the best friend any one could be blessed with.

Mary,
I just want to add my voice to the others and express my sympathy.
It's such a tough decision to make but we all know you did the right
thing.
My thoughts are with you tonight.

So sorry to hear about Marvin, but glad he is free of pain now. We're
thinking of you.

I had to let my beloved Delight leave me a year ago August 5 to go to place
with no pain where she could be healthy and run like wind again. There's not
a day that goes by that I don't think of her. It has gotten a little easier,
but not much. At least I don't cry every day like I did for the first month
or two, but I certainly am crying now........for you. Know that you did your
best for Marvin, he did appreciate it, and he didn't want to leave you, but
it was time.

You stole my heart when we met...............you took it with you when you
left.

My thoughts, prayers, and healing energy are with you during this
difficult time Mary. How brave you both were to make the decision that
was best. I wish there was some magic way to take away the pain of loss
and leave in its place only all the happy memories you two made
together. You were blessed to have had each other for such a lifetime.

strides as he crossed the bridge.......

My beloved horse Marvin left this plain of existence early this morning
around 2:15. After a lengthy bout with colic, he and I decided it was
time for him to move on. He was humanely put to sleep, and passed
quietly.
I am still in shock, not really knowing what to do with myself. Marvin
has been a big part of my life for 24 years and he will be missed so
very much.
My one consolation is that before he left me that he was walking without
pain. Long beautiful strides. For the first time in over a year and a
half.
Hug your horses for me today, and say a little prayer for Marvin. He was
truly one of a kind and the best friend any one could be blessed with.

Here is something that I hope will bring you comfort on this saddest of days.
You had the strength to make a decision for your friend and Marvin needed
you to perform that final act of love for him, seeing him off on his journey
to the Rainbow Bridge. My candle is lit for Marvin this day and for you,
because you loved him so! You are not alone, we all feel your pain but you
have done the right thing for Marvin! That is all we can do in life, our
best! You have done it! Love and Comfort!
