We didn't do any blood work for cushing's specifically..her CBC and
chemistries were
pretty normal and I think that this is why my vet decided that we didn't
need to start her on medication..of course this was around March and
temperatures weren't in the100's, so, her weight looked and her feet
looked good; the only thing was the long curly coat that wasn't even
thinking about shedding. With some luck, next summer I may be able to
send her up north with some friends...they're building a house on 35
acres and have suggested several times that that could be an option next
summer. I just have to get through this summer. Thanks for the welcome
