Sunny has not had any positive results for ketones. I'll be testing again in a few days. If anything changes I'll let you know.

Did your veterinarian get the background information and explain to you about testing the urine with a dipstick?  You can get the urine dipsticks online or at any drug store.

 I do have urine dipsticks, but I don’t know how to read if ketones are in the urine.    Mine says it tests 10 parameters, ketones is not listed.  Her glucose shows as dark brown on the reagent strip.
