Can't add document to Lab Results

Mikki

Some of my lab results are marked that they need documents.
Although I have uploaded appropriate documents, I haven't been able to get them linked to the corresponding lab results.
What am I missing?
Thanks

Hi Mikki,

Have you looked at the Wiki here: https://ecir.groups.io/g/main/wiki/33274#Laboratory-Results?  If the directions you need are not there please let us know what you are doing when you get stuck.

Thanks,

I'm replying to the group. If that was incorrect, please let me know.

As for my problem, the lab results for Dilly for glucose and ACTH show "waiting for documentation".  I have documents for both of these under D & I.

In addition, the lab result for insulin shows "VIEW" but when I click view it gives a forbidden message.

I have tried deleting the lab results and their documentation files and re-entering but nothing changes.  I'm really stuck and its keeping me from getting info whether my mare is considered IR and whether I should increase her Prescend since her ACTH has jumped.

Any suggestions?  Thanks

Hi, Mikki.

ECIR volunteers can read your Cornell lab report from the document linked to your leptin results. Go ahead and start a new topic with your questions. Post here: https://ecir.groups.io/g/main/post

Now for CH questions.

Your ACTH, glucose, insulin and leptin lab results are all documented by one single document that has already been added. Instead of uploading multiple times (I did that too!), from the edit menu click ADD DOC. When you are directed to the next page, after you fill out the description fields, click the black button Choose From Your Existing Documents.  Then select from your existing documentation of Cornell lab results.

Thanks for adding the link to your CH into your automatic signature. The link needs to be made active or clickable by adding a space or return after the link. I fixed it, so the link should work for your future posts  to the forum.

Hi Mikki,

It would be helpful for us if you could add BCS pictures to Dilly's case history. 1210 pounds for a 14.3 hand horse sounds like she's quite overweight, not a 5.5. Even if she's 1210lbs she shouldn't be eating more than 2% of her body weight or 24lbs per day TOTAL.  Your CH indicates that she's eating about 30lbs a day of hay plus probably over a pound of concentrates as well.

Having a correct diet is important for any horse, even one that hasn't tested as IR so getting actual weights of what she is being fed could be very important.

Thanks,

HI Mikki

You did a good job getting your info in place. I'd like to send you a pm about your lab results issue.  I have a couple of ideas that we can explore off group. Once we have an answer we can let the rest of the group know.

Look for a private email from me, maybe in your spam box.

Thanks for hanging in there.
