Can’t see added info in new CH

Lynda, Max & Ginger

Hi all,
Sorry, I did try to find help in the Wiki for this …
I sat down today to update new CH for Max, and after inputting his basic info a few weeks ago.  I’d decided to enter results for his initial oral sugar test and was pretty sure I’d correctly added the pre-test result, and then the 60” result after choosing the “add more lab results” from drop-down at bottom and then clicking the green button below it.  When I tried to add the 90” result it still showed my previous entry so I closed it to check the update in his CH but none of the info I'd entered appeared.   I then tried uploading  the Lab PDF document itself and it also seemed to go well but is also not showing up.  Not sure where the info is floating around (may be multiples since I tried to re-input) or what step(s) I'm missing?
I believe I successfully added the new CH signature to original signature page to make it easier but it’s drastically incomplete.

As always, your help greatly appreciated.

Hi Lynda,

The link to your new CH is https://ch.ecirhorse.org/case-history.php?id=51 - when I click on that link I only see basic information for Max and it shows he's 5.2 hands tall so nothing else has updated yet.

Thanks,

Thanks Sherry,

I know the CH hadn’t updated with the info I had entered, and that’s what I’m needing help with.  As stated,  I input and saved some lab results and uploaded and saved a corresponding PDF document as instructed, but it did not appear in the CH and apparently it’s not floating around unattached anywhere.  i’ll try again, but if someone could maybe offer an idea of what step I might be missing it’d be appreciated.

I now have the correct url saved to my signature page and have also corrected Max’s height…thanks for noticing that🙄.

Hi Lynda

When stuck, refresh can be your friend. I am going to offer these very low-tech steps:
log out of the site,
close (log out of) your browser,
reboot your computer,
try again.

If this continues, you and I can have a pm to explore. I'll need specific info: the exact steps you took, including links to which pages you were on when you did XX, as well as device(s) and browser(s) info.

I have to ask you to revisit to correct your signature.  You need the URL that takes us all to your actual case-history which can be viewed by everyone.  The link you are currently using is to your private work area. Sherry provided the correct link to Max's public facing CH which I will leave here again: https://ch.ecirhorse.org/case-history.php?id=51

Notice that the above URL has the words case-history and Max's id# which is 51.

Have a look at the above link and you will see that you do have symptoms listed and visible.

A review of the site landscape may help you negotiate the right path. See particularly ! LEARNING CURVE Understanding Site Function.  https://ecir.groups.io/g/main/wiki/33274

There is a learning curve but I know you will get there.  Hang on.

Hi Nancy,
Apparently, the draft for my last response was started before I fixed the signature so did not show up when sent it. I believe it is correct at the bottom of this response though?
I gave up on entering Lab results for awhile and successfully updated some other categories and documents instead.  Then I decided to try entering results from a different kind of test than the Oral Sugar.  Yay, no problem entering a couple of baseline ACTH results, so I tried once again to input the OST results … still no luck.  I noticed this time that the  “time of draw” entry is turning to red when move onto the other entries required. The test was done at 8:30 AM and thanks what Ikm choosing.   I’m trying to enter values for the initial draw of the three  required and I’m choosing “pre-insulin and “0 min, pretest” from the drop downs (assuming I'll need to then enter and update the 60 and 90 minute results).  After  I’ve picked what I want to do next and clicked the green update button at the bottom the form just sits there, I’ve tried going back to reset the draw time after the info is completed but it immediately turns red again when I touch anything else.  I'm guessing the time error is the problem but not sure what to do about it.
thanks again

Hi Lynda

More tomorrow but yes your signature is correct.

If you are gong to play around, make sure your date is actual date of blood draw and not today's date.

Yep, I’ve been careful to input Aug 25 2020 first before moving on.  I see now now that the blood draw time entry cell is red immediately when I open up the OST entry form … don’t know if that’s normal, but don’t think it was doing that when I first started trying.  Turns blue when time is entered but red again immediately upon entering anything into another field.
I have read all the Wiki several times including the Learning curve portions.  Out of ideas but I’ve had two OSTs done in initial diagnostic stage probably useful to enter them.
I hate to use up more valuable space here, especially since it doesn’t appear that anyone else has had this glitch.  Please do PM if you think of anything.  Thanks again!

I am having this same problem trying to add insulin results.  Was there a fix?

Hi Barb and Lynda

I am sorry for the delay in responding.  Life got in the way of my volunteer job.

Unfortunateky I cannot recreate your issue. Tried a bunch of things to guess what you may have been doing. I could not recreate the red box, which means you've entered the wrong data or something is missing. Some of the selections can be based on your browser. I've tried to recreate your issue in Chrome and Firefox.

Please drop me a pm.  I need to know the exact steps you took, starting all the way down to (1) rebooted computer, (2) refreshed browser, (3) opened OST selection, etc...... Also need info on your device and browser being used. SIDE NOTE: Make sure your browser is up to date.

Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for the opportunity to refine out training guides! We'll get this.
