I’ve tested a new batch of hay, Nancy is balancing it for me and a question came up. In November 2022 that batch of hay had high protein & nitrates and you recommended that Flame get 8mg of iodine to protect his thyroid. This hay has lower protein & hopefully lower nitrates. Should he still be on that higher iodine amount or back to normal amount? Thanks in advance!

The lower crude protein is no guarantee nitrate is low. You should test nitrate.
