Hi Sandy,
Whether the Equishine product is appropriate depends on your hay. We have a list of people approved to determine what your hay needs for a fee and whether this, or any commercial, product will work. The list is here: https://ecir.groups.io/g/main/files/6%20Diet%20Balancing/HAY%20BALANCING-1.pdf I can almost guarantee you'll need to supplement magnesium as well since it's very low in the Equishine. You could start with adding the 10g MgO (magnesium oxide) per day that we recommend in our Emergency Diet. MgO is cheap at feed stores. Mg is important for many reasons, including helping control insulin resistance. When you create your Case History there's an option to upload a document or pdf of your hay analysis, and we'd be happy to review it there if you have any questions. -- Kirsten and Shaku (EMS + PPID) and Snickers (EMS) - 2019 Kitimat, BC, Canada ECIR Group Moderator Shaku's Photo Album Snickers' Case History Snickers' Photo Album |
