Falki Update - So Happy
Connie Proceviat
Hi All,
It has been bitterly cold here the past week and -34 C this morning without the windchill. Falki marched out of his paddock curiously looking what was being offered for breakfast. Thank you to Dr. Kellon and the work of this group, I think I have finally learned what is required to manage his cold induced laminitis. He hasn't done this well during cold temperatures in years. Sure glad we never gave up. -- Connie Proceviat 2013 Manitoba, Canada Case History: https://ecir.groups.io/g/CaseHistory/files/Connie%20and%20Falki Falki Photo Album: https://ecir.groups.io/g/CaseHistory/album?id=254861 |

Thank you for the good news update Connie! Especially for all the other folks currently struggling with winter laminitis it's good to know that things can come together.

Hi Connie,
I am curious to know if Falki had any laminitis issues prior to him having cold-induced laminitis? My Icelandic gelding, Baldur, has had high insulin in the past, but no laminitis.
