Lupin Pellets are they a safe feed ?

I am wondering if this product would be suitable for EMS equines ,it is promoted as suitable , but wanted to check on your thoughts

,they arnt same as the product that link takes me to and are available in eastern states ,least i can get  might have supply issues round my way due to floods for bit but hopefully wont affect what Wally needs for too long .
Just wasnt sure about protien level of Lupin Pellet comes in at 20% the rest seems ok I think .

Yes the protein level is quite high, so if your hay has generous protein it may be safer to stick with beet pulp or soyhull pellets. If your hay has low protein, it could help balance the diet to use the lupin hill pellets. They might also be useful as a taste-tempter sprinkled on less appealing feed.
