Daisy Shepherd

my horse, tiko, for part of his turn out is a dry lot which i thought was great, he goes out with hay to give him something to eat,  he is always starving.  worked great for a few days until he discovered the elm trees have leaves so now he strips these from tree.  do you have info for sugar and starch in these leaves?   thank you, daisy, tiko, whisper

Dairy One shows an average 12.4% sugar and starch in fresh leaves, which makes sense since leaves have the job of generating all the sugar for the tree.
