Urine test Wally advise please

Wally had his first urine dipstick test after starting on Ertugliflozin on 16/6/2022 yesterday has come back with inflammatory cells,some blood,inflammation and glucose being excreted,His vet is saying need to watch closely and has put him on oral Sulprim .Would like to know if this is appropriate course of action and if I should be doing anything else ,He is booked for bloods around 14th july 2022

The best thing to do would be to catch a midstream urine and take that to your vet for a formal urinalysis.
