I am interested in being an early adopter.
I have new information to upload to my case history in any case. I have had a case history for almost exactly two years. I am not tech averse but can have problems so could be a good test case with a much older PC or a smaller Chromebook lap top type computer.

Hi Nancy, I suppose I could be a guinea pig & try the new case history form. I never had any trouble with the old one really, so shd. be able to conquer the new one. Magic's Case History is pretty old. You only want the last 2 years of data? All of our old case histories will be saved though, right? I have a doc copy at home & keep the latest printed copy in his binder, so guess I'm okay as far as historical info goes. Let me know. Ferne Fedeli

Hi Nancy, I tried to download my data 3 years ago but wasn't very successful. I followed whatever info I could gather from the website and have kept my horse laminitis free and healthy until this year. Everything is different and out of control. There is so much history behind this project that deserves telling. More on that later.
Today I wish to announce that we are seeking members to be Early Adopters to migrate their data to the new site.
Early Adopters can be a new or experienced ECIR member, willing to load their equine information to populate the site. To step up as an Early Adopter, one does not need to be a tech-wizard, just fearless and not tech averse.
We have tested the site with multiple browsers and devices to make sure that it can be accessed by almost anyone. Like any large project with significant data, uploading from a larger device is infinitely easier. I can personally attest to this. For the most efficient experience, we recommend Chrome on a larger device.
We are looking for two years of data from Early Adopters with existing case histories. If you or the equine is new to ECIR case histories, as an Early Adopter you would start your file and add data as you acquire it.
The site would be open to Early Adopters after the US Thanksgiving holiday. Early Adopter histories need be in place by December 20. Transition plans for the rest of the membership will then be outlined in coming days.
Early Adopters will help step the stage for those who come next by migrating their data. We hope this approach will help pave the way to fully open the new site to all on or before the New Year.
I’d love to have a dozen or so folks total. Support Team members and Directors will also be on board to supply their data.

To All new Case History Early Adopters A quick update. We’ve hit a small speed bump that I hope we clear shortly. Throughout this year, my little town in the woods has been going through upgrade to high speed internet. A great event that we are very much looking forward to. My farm is to be hooked up today. While there have been a few hiccups, most neighbors have not seen an issue switching over to the new service. Because, temporarily at least, I will be the sole gatekeeper for the new CH site, I am holding off on opening the door for Early Adopters. Just want to make sure my internet is okay before we jump in. We have some 50 volunteers who came forward to help pave the way for everyone to eventually move to the new site. So we do not clog the work that needs to be done here on the main forum everyday, I have set up a private subgroup for this bit of adventure. Those who stepped forward should look for an invitation shortly, once high speed is hooked up. I’m 99.9% sure my email will remain the same, so send me a PM if you have questions about this. Hi Everyone Just to let everyone know, after a late start, the Early Adopter volunteer group is up and running. A new subgroup has been started. For the moment, it is private to just those who agreed to volunteer for this mission. Those of you who are on board should have received an initial email from me and an INVITE to the new private site. Please check your spam box. I will be at the computer the rest of the week getting Early Adopters lined up on the new site and setting staff to move us all forward. So we do not clog this group, send me a pm or on the new subgroup. I have re-locked this thread. Thank you to all Early Adopters.
