I wanted to know how much E for IR horse. I searched and
A member said 4000 iu per 1000 lbs. for EMS.

I later found the answer in the EMS Diet info on ECIR. 2000 iu per 1000 lbs.

The NRC recommended daily minimum is 1 IU/kg of body weight. This is a bare minimum to avoid full blown deficiency. Multiple studies have found higher levels improve immune function. Insulin resistance is also associated with increased oxidative stress and E is an important antioxidant.
